- Ingredients : Each tablet contains 10.0 mg of prednisolone , and 250.0 mg of excipients (auxiliary substances).
- Drug type : Medium-acting synthetic corticosteroid.
- Mechanism of action : It works as an anti-inflammatory, anti-itching and anti-allergic agent, and it also suppresses immune mechanisms.

Prednisolona 10 is used in the following cases:
- Replacement therapy : 0.25 mg/kg.
- Skin infections and allergies : at a dose of 0.5 to 1.0 mg/kg daily.
- Autoimmune diseases : such as pemphigus in its various types.
- Conditions requiring immunosuppression .
Dosage and method of administration:
The medication is given orally. It is recommended to administer it at specific times that align with the animal's natural hormonal rhythm:
- Dogs : Between 7 and 10 AM.
- Cats : Between 10 PM and 12 AM.
For long-term treatment:
- Induction phase : A dose of 0.5 to 1.0 mg/kg daily is given for 5 to 7 days.
- Maintenance phase : A double dose of 1.0 to 2.0 mg/kg is given every 48 hours.
- Maintenance phase : The dose is reduced by 50% weekly to reach the lowest effective dose. Treatment should be discontinued gradually.
Contraindications and precautions:
Prednisolona 10 should be avoided in the following cases:
- Demodectic mange.
- Chronic arthritis.
- Liver and kidney failure.
- Duodenal ulcer.
- Fungal diseases.
- Glaucoma.
