Feed urinary S/O for 5 to 12 weeks to dissolve struvite stones and up to 6 months to reduce recurrence of struvite stones. The cat should be re-evaluated regularly by your veterinarian to assess the appropriateness of a lifelong recommendation. Water should also be available at all times.
Note: In older cats, kidney function should be checked before recommending a new diet.
